The "Planning for Weddings" project is to promote and foster a magazine uniquely different from mainstream publications. This is a means of putting clients and highly regarded professionals from the Wedding Industry in close contact with each other without advertisers paying premium fees based on "circulation" figures derived from how many magazines are thrown over fences or left on bus seats.

Advertising has closed for the 2009, Bayside & Redlands edition. Look for it in your local newsagent in January or get a free copy from any of our advertisers.

We are now taking applications listings for the 2009 Northside edition

What is so different about us and why are we so successful?

Planning Weddings is a unique magazine providing a networking link between ethical wedding industry providers and their clients. I've written an explanation describing how and why this networking magazines can guarantee you exposure to targeted audiences no traditional magazine ever can.

We can absolutely guarantee only those people who actually mention the magic word "wedding" get this magazine. What it means for our partnering advertisers is an assurance they pay a rate based on how many people are planning a wedding and not on how many magazines are distributed in letter box drops and by being left in shopping centres and on bus stops. It's ecologically sound distribution and highly effective targeting at a narrow audience.

The magazines are rich in articles written by the Industry's leading professionals with advertisements and useful information on where to go for what you need. Planning your wedding has never been easier than when you use our magazine to source out hard to find items, fantastic reception venues and happy friendly people dedicated to making your wedding as perfect as possible. All this while knowing all along the people you deal with are ethical and committed to your satisfaction.

The first Bayside/Redlands edition in 2008 was an unexpected success for our advertisers and readers alike. So much so that our initial estimate of how many to print was so far out, we had to order a second print run in March to fill the demand. The 2008 Edition will be given out with the new 2009 edition until March 2009, or until stocks run out.

Our first Southside edition ...out now and being distributed until June 2009,  was expanded to include no less than 30, highly ethical wedding industry professionals. Our feature article by Ray Roth about choosing a celebrant was an instant success with our readers. Read his article on-line. or order a complementary printed version of the magazine.

A round of applause goes to; Janet from "Wedded Bliss"  and Margaret from After Five Formals who together have handed out over 1000 magazines in 2008 to people planning a wedding.

Our magazine has grown from a small brochure style publication to assist my wedding photography clients understand what happens at their wedding and what they could do to ensure a memorable outcome ...into a sought after magazine for couples planning their entire wedding using the professionals who advertise in it. Where else can you be assured the people you contact to help you have an ethical code and clearly stated commitment to do everything they can to help ?
